Our journey in Christ has been an epic one! Matthew grew up in a Christian home, with a father who was an Evangelist, only to lose him to cancer when he was just 12 years old. After straying as far from Christ as possible, God broke into Matt’s life at 16 years old, and it’s been a ride ever since! Abandoned by her mother at the age of 5, AnnMarie grew up feeling unloved and alone, which led to self-destructive behavior well into her 20’s. Miserable, and desperate for guidance, she picked up her Bible she received from Church camp when she was a teen, and encountered God in a life-changing way. We've known each other since the 5th Grade. We lost touch over the years, until God brought us together at the perfect time! After getting married, three kids later, and a move cross country from Southern California, our hunger for God has only grown. Not having a church we could call home, God led us to Lake View Church of God. We are excited to serve in the youth ministry, and look forward to getting to know you and your kids, and help disciple them in Christ in an effective and relevant way!
